From Today – D Litter

What we are up to!
Huge congrats to Liz and Argo for earning their BH this past weekend!!! I am looking forward to hearing more about their success
I got the e-mail while in NYC and it made my day!!!
Frodo and I had a good weekend with training!! YEAH for Frodo… except still a little miffed that he decided it was okay to climb up my back and chomp onto my ponytail!!! I am now minus some hair and have impressions of his claws scabbed into my back
I was convinced I was bleeding threw my shirt for a bit.

First of all, I PROMISE puppy photos tomorrow
It should be the last set before ears are done.
Meanwhile we have been busy with lots of stuff to include our new Au Pair from Korea. She was a little nervous with our dogs at first, but they have since won her over. She said to me the other day, “Snips looks like human.” I was little confused, because I never thought Snips looked like a person, but her eyes are a little rounder…. maybe?!!?!
Then I realized what she meant. She said, “Snips understands every word I say!” I started laughing and agreed with her. I said that is what happens after 10 years
She asked if the other dogs go to training on weekends to learn words like Snips. Too funny!!

but wanted to share a couple photos from this weekend. I will post more later. I took these photos with a lens from work so was trying to figure out how to use it…. meanwhile one of my personal lenses passed away
After using my work lenses, I put my old lens back on and she didn’t function!! After a couple of attempts to revive her, I realized it was a lost cause. How sad considering I took THOUSANDS of photos with that lens. Anyway, here are a couple of the weekend photos.

What do we do on a Friday night you ask?!?! Work on fitness of course!!! I had to laugh, between Mike and I, Au Pair, dogs, and kids on bikes… we were quite the site to see running down the nature trail. People saw the herd coming and turned tail the other way!!
I am very impressed with Frodo’s endurance. I started running with him a month ago and he has taken to it without issue. I know you are probably thinking any dog should be able to run 3 miles, but I found out last summer that is not the case… So not only am I pleased with Frodo, but I like his running style. He stays straight, doesn’t bump into me, and keeps a nice pace to encourage me on
Finished packing for our trip to visit Miss Lyn and the Viking Crew!!! Also need to plan a Baltimore overnight soon cause it is like a mini vacation for me and dogs!!!
Got home early enough today to get some photos of Snips and Cosmo together running in our back woods and thought I would share them.
