What I love about dogs is that they truly have a sixth sense when it comes to people. I think this is why they are the only animal who has evolved to co-exist with humans. They seem to know what we need, when we are selves don’t even know what we need or want.
Cosmo did just that for me today. I will be honest guys, I have been hitting the end of my rope with dog stuff. It isn’t the dogs, it is what comes along with it. I work so hard, develop a breeding program, train my dogs, put sweat, tears, and blood into all of this for what?!?! Trust me when I say there is no lucrative rewards at the end of the tunnel…. far from that. Nothing but a long list of expenses and hours spent doing what was once deemed fun. I have had a few conversations with Mike saying I am done with all of this and want to go back to being a basic dog owner… and then Cosmo reminded me today of why I do this 
I can’t tell you the last time I worked her. She is still loosing weight from her last litter and looks a bit like a brown hog, but I chose to drag her out. All I can say is she did PHENOMINAL in every phase. For not working for months on end, she tracked like a rock star, did obedience like a champ, and did protection like an old pro. I just about died when her fat a$$ launched down the field and clamped onto that sleeve like you can’t believe!!! It just brought me back to why I LOVE this sport. She is my girl and I am so proud of her.
